Pradhan Mantri MUDRA Yojana (PMMY) is a scheme launched by the Honโ€™ble Prime Minister on April 8, 2015 for providing loans up to โ‚น20 lakh (for those entrepreneurs who have availed and successfully repaid previous loans under the โ€˜Tarunโ€™ category) to the non-corporate, non-farm small/micro enterprises.

These loans are classified as MUDRA loans under PMMY.

These loans are given by:

  • Commercial Banks

  • Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)

  • Small Finance Banks

  • Microfinance Institutions (MFIs)

  • Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs)

  1. Shishu:
    Loans up to โ‚น50,000

  2. Kishore:
    Loans above โ‚น50,000 and up to โ‚น5 lakh

  3. Tarun:
    Loans above โ‚น5 lakh and up to โ‚น10 lakh

  4. Tarun Plus:
    Loans above โ‚น10 lakh and up to โ‚น20 lakh
